Out and about in Solothurn with my Leica M EV1 and the 35mm Summilux: Eleven photos capture the city’s special number alongside landmarks, autumn light, and small scenes from everyday life. My mother grew up here, and as a child I often visited my grandparents. A personal photo tour and a small declaration of love for this beautiful Baroque city.

I bought my Leica M EV1 with great enthusiasm — and then hardly used it. Four photographic dates were meant to decide whether it should stay. Somewhere between a beer in Bern, M-COOL, reflections, shadows and a walk with Mabel, something changed. Not the camera, but the way I see. Today, the decision is easy: my M EV1 stays. ❤️

A day trip to Eguisheim in Alsace with my family and Mabel. Among half-timbered houses, winding lanes and old shutters, my Leica led me towards the little things: light and shadow, quiet details and everyday life in the village. At the end of the day, our walk took us out into the vineyards – with one last look back at Eguisheim.

Four days in Ticino with Mabel: via Grimsel and Nufenen to Ascona, walks along Lake Maggiore, a trip to Sonogno in the Verzasca Valley - and a spectacular journey home via Gotthard, Furka, and Grimsel, complete with a surprise encounter with a steam train.

6,713 nautical miles, countless encounters, fascinating wildlife, and unforgettable moments. To conclude this mini world tour, I have selected 60 photographs that have stayed with me – moments filled with wonder, joy, vast horizons, and memories.
